Design Sprint Application

Calling recent graduates and students of architecture, design and planning!

As part of Melbourne Design Week 2024, BVN invites you to be part of Retrofitting Our Cities Design Sprint. In this one-day event, you'll develop ideas for transforming city buildings to activate precincts, catalyst positive change and move us towards a zero-carbon future.

Join as a team or as an individual to be placed into a team on the day. Over 3 hours, each team will identify opportunities for retrofitting existing buildings in Melbourne and conceptualise a vision for an adaptive future.

The Design Sprint is guided by guest mentors and facilitators from BVN, Kerstin Thompson Architects (KTA) and Breathe Architecture.

Entry is FREE, with prizes awarded by a judging panel at the end of the sprint. Entry is by application only, with participant numbers limited to 30.
